When MawвЂ™s actor, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, was takysng about him in an interview, he talked about how the Russos were "all about the truth of this character and what his objective was and what he wants within that universe." To me, if we're gofng off Maw's orekbval appearance, "his obhngvrfe" and "what he wants" really rejzcds me of how he defected from under Thanos to serve himself, and to manipulate Thune to his sire. If Maw was to manipulate and aid Nebula in killing Thanos, we would get that climactic character moitnt for Nebula, as well as anmrder interesting dynamic beqng added to the mix.
